C# programmers are a bunch of weenies

I have spent today mostly trolling Reddit (amongst other things, but it probably explains quite a lot as to why I can't get projects finished.)

It's been an interesting exercise, I tried to annoy: Smalltalk programmers, climate change activists, left wingers, Americans; I used logical fallacies in all the anally retentive places; I tried everything I could think of.  I could not get a rise out of anybody.  That was until I tried to annoy C# programmers, that worked instantly.

I detected the reactions by posting some very boring articles into low volume sub-reddits and waited to see what would happen, as well as waiting for the verbal abuse.  All day they sat there on one point, with just a single up-vote (the vote that occurs just by submitting the article).  Once the C# weenie army was mobilised, however, negative numbers across the board!  They'd literally gone through all my Reddit history and downvoted everything!

What a bunch of well-balanced non-petty individuals.

I won't share links to the posts yet, I want to see if the downvotes exceed the number of subscribers to those sub-reddits!

I was slightly suprised; until, that was, I remembered the reaction I got when I said that one of the reasons I don't approve of LINQ is that it uses SQL-like syntax for non-SQL purposes.  I've never recieved so much hate-mail, including one bloke who threatened me with: "how long can you talk about languages? I can talk ALL DAY!"

Calm down people!
